In-Home care is a broad term used to describe several forms of care provided in-home. Generally, it covers personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, transferring, grooming), homemaking services (light housekeeping and chores), and companionship services, which may include personal shopping, transportation, and socialization. In-home senior care is paid for privately, whereas home health care is prescribed by a physician and covered by Medicare or supplemental insurance providers.
Yes, our agency is licensed by the state of Texas (Health u0026 Human Services).
Yes, often patients who are hospitalized, develop complications, such as infections. When someone is cared for at home, the risk of infection is much lower. Home Care provides one-on-one attention, allowing the patient and family to be more involved in the care.
Services include Alzheimer’s, Dementia care, Companion Care, Personal Care (bathing assistance, incontinence care), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, laundry, medication reminders, 24 Hour In-Home Care, and Respite Care Services for family members.
We are private pay; we accept credit, debit cards, and ACH for payments. We also work with Long Term Care insurance.
We require a min. of 4 hours per shift, and if the client provides 3 or more shifts per week, we can assign a dedicated caregiver.
Yes, we do background checks, reference checks, and drug tests before hiring our caregivers. We also check their record in a Nurse Aide Registry and Employee Misconduct registry that is maintained by Health and Human Services of Texas.
Our caregivers have years of experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities in assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, and private homes. We also provide them with additional/ongoing training at the time of hire and yearly training.
Yes, we carry liability insurance, and we also provide workers’ compensation for the caregiver. If the caregiver gets injured at work, workers’ compensation takes care of that.
Yes. We understand that life happens, and if the primary caregiver cannot make it to work, we send a backup caregiver.
